Inside Belle Colombe

We thought some of you might find it interesting to have a look inside our home for the next 4 months. At 57ft she is spacious and well equipped. Above the waterline the aluminium hull is foam insulated and we have an efficient diesel-fired hot air system for when it gets really cold. Under the bunks and the boards we have ample storage - indeed the challenge is remembering where we have put everything.

The plan shows the basic layout. The video walkthrough that follows shows how we are living aboard. At any one time we will have a crew of 4 or 5 aboard and that is quite comfortable without being too much like sardines in a can.
